Chap's Expressions realizes how vital education is in helping young girls make positive decisions for themselves. In addition to learning basic skills such as reading and writing, a good education is essential in developing the necessary skills needed to help break the cycles of extreme poverty and abuse while also raising the awareness of proper health care.

According to the United Nations, "Women are over half of the world's population, yet they do two-thirds of the world's work, earn one-tenth of the world's income, and own less than one-hundredth of the world's property."

Please join us as we help to enrich the lives of young girls in Liberia by making a commitment to help sponsor the education of a young Liberian girl. Between March 01, 2007 and August 31, 2007 Chaps Expressions will be collecting donations to be presented to the Camphor Mission School in Liberia. The cost of educating a young girl is $250 per year and our current goal is to sponsor a minimum of twenty.
