others take the high road. Fathers, you persevere. Children move beyond your circumstance. To all healing comes with forgiveness and understanding.

This month we give a standing ovation to all those tussling with the difficulties of wrongful paternity and DNA paternity test results. The scenarios leading up to paternity testing vary. Each circumstance has a unique set of dilemmas that create lessons learned, and testimonies of broken family relationships.  There are powerful stories of triumphs. Stories of those who manage to live through the pain, reconcile their differences, and move forward in building relationships founded on love and forgiveness. Many would say this is difficult to achieve while struggling with the legal system, child support agency, or “following the discovery of misattributed paternity”1 and we would certainly agree that it’s difficult but not impossible! We continue June’s theme, “Paternity: the Catch-22 to Fathering” and we applaud our Table Talk guests for sharing their story of triumph publicly.
