Prayer for the Cure of Indifference

Father of all living, cast out indifferences which obscure our embrace of the superb cultural richness couched within humankind. Stamp out unexamined bitterness of differences. Cure our sight to see the image of you on every face. Cure our hearing so that unkind words about others are offenses. Cure our minds from the mental disorder of seeing hopelessness in others. Cure us from embezzling your job as humankind’s divine judger and savior. And for this Father, we will give you all the praise, all the glory forever Amen.
